Albafruit

Canada Grise

The name is misleading – the Canada Grise actually originated in England! Medium-sized to large, the fruit is uneven in shape with a firm matt skin that ranges in colour from yellow to light brown. When fully ripe, the colour is more like that of cinnamon. The flesh is soft, yellowish-white to greenish and sweet with pleasant acidity. Canada Grise apples are excellent for baking and cooking with meat and game.
