Hayward

The ‘Hayward’ kiwi fruit is one of the better known varieties and indeed is the most widely grown variety in the world. Measuring up to 8 cm, the fruits have the typical egg shape and a brown, furry skin. The flesh is bright green with clearly visible seeds and is beautifully sweet and juicy. The very fast-growing plants can reach nine metres in height and produce delicately fragranced cream-white blossom.
